Journal Entry

Dear Diary,

I have been waiting for this night to come so I can give out all the presents and get some carrots. Usually, there was always carrots but there was none at the first house or the second one and there was still no carrots. I started to get disappointed because Santa kept getting treats and not us reindeers so I started getting really tired and started to want to go back home, but I was still a little bit hopeful. We kept going to houses and I started getting slower and more tired. Until Santa stopped at Mc Donalds. Santa got us some treats and then I was really happy and excited to finally eat after flying for hours and hours and now I felt more motived to give all presents.

Dear Santa,

This year I do not want anything for Christmas instead I would like you to give all the animal shelters around the world food and toys for the animals. So they can live a better life instead of being left without food and water for days because their old owners did not take care of them. Because I don't think animals should be treated like that so they could get a new home and a happier life.

I like pancakes because they are nice to have instead of cereal. I also like to have golden syrup, berries and cream. I also like baking, so I like baking them.

I like it because its simple and yummy and it fulls you up. I also like it because its really easy and quick to make so if you are in a rush you can still make it.

I like butter chicken because chicken is my favourite kind of meat and I love the flavour of it. Its also very yummy and I always love it when we have it for dinner.

Swimming Safety Tips

This week we are starting swimming! Swimming is an exciting part of summer but it is important to remember to keep yourself safe.

If Kids Had Tails...

I think it would be uncomfortable to sit down and everyone would be running around trying to hurt each other with there tails.

If Leaves Were Fish...

I think it would be cool seeing fish on trees and it would be easier to catch them because you could just grab them and you won't have to wait for hours to catch them.

If Toes Were Teeth

I think it would be weird to see toes in someone's mouth and your own. I also think it would be harder to chew because our toes are not sharp, unlike our teeth.

A School In Auckland Has Cancelled Their End Of Year Prize Giving

I think that they should not have canceled it because the students don't have anything to work towards. Not everyone can win but for the people who do all their hard work paid off, but it can be really boring just sitting there most of the day.

Athletics Reflection

On Monday we had school athletics, I was in the 12-13-year-olds. I wanted to try my best in all of the events. I wanted to try and get in HP for the field events because I am not good at running.  First, we had high jump. Before we could finish high jump we had to go to 100m sprints I am not sure what I came in it though. Then we went back to high jump. Then we still did not finish so we had to go long jump my best was 3.10m. After we went to shotput I am not sure what I got there either. After that we had a little break then went to 200m. I am not sure what I got there either. After we went back to high jump, I think I did pretty good at it. Yesterday we did discus because we did not do it on athletics day. I came 3rd in it so I was happy about that. Overall it was a good day.

The History Of Saturn

Galileo Galilei was the first to discover Saturn. He was the first to observe Saturn with the telescope in 1610. There is also a Greek God called Saturn. Saturn is also the father of Jupiter. 

In the past few years, Saturn has changed colors from a grey to a yellow color. It changed colors on its north-polar hexagon. Saturn has only been visited by spacecraft 4 times. In 1979 Pioneer 11 was the first to fly by Saturn, then in 1980 and 1981 Voyager 1 and Voyager 2 flew by as well. In July 2004 the Cassini reached Saturn.

Labour Weekend

I predict my Labour weekend will be boring and very hot. I think it will be boring because we will just be at home. It think it will be hot as well because it is nearly summer. I also might go on a water slide because it will be very hot.

Goal Or Wish For This Term

This term I want to try and get a prize at prizegiving.  I have been trying my best in everything even if it was hard and not giving up. I got one badge last year and I was really happy but I want to get one more before I leave.
