Term 2 Week 9

On Wednesday we had tech and I made ice-cream with Elizabeth the recipe was really simple it just had to freeze overnight after we had finished making it. It was really yum because we ate it on Thursday and Friday.  This week on Thursday we had gymsport competition in Thames. I was in session 1 and I was competing in the highest level. The beam was way better than our school beam because it was not as shaky but it was way higher. The vault was my favorite because we got just get it over and done with fast. Then after The gymsport bit, we got to do our cheerleading. We came first but we were the only cheerleading group so we already came first. Overall it was a really fun day and I am sad I can't do it again.

The redhead emojis went live last week with 157 others. Sadly you cant just rush on to your phone to see them, Twitter already has them but Apple and Google are waiting till a big update to add them :( But they have been long overdue and everyone is excited for them.

Ngatea Is Trying To Go Plastic Bag Free

I think is it really cool that Ngatea is going plastic bag free and is going to be one of the first towns to be plastic bag free. I think it is a really good idea because there is a lot of plastic going into the sea and it will reduce the amount going into the sea. This will make a difference to the sea life because they can get it around their necks of the fish might think its food and eat it. I think if the whole of New Zealand went plastic bag free it would reduce the materials to make them and it would just be a bit cleaner and not as much sea life would be dying.

Term 2 Week 7

This week we have started the Maths Ninja challenge on Mangahigh. The challenge is where you have to get a lot of points to get a real medal. Last year I got a bronze and I am trying to get the gold one this year. On Tuesday for tech this week we made dips. We could either make broccoli dip or cheesy bacon dip. Summer, Lavanya and I made the cheesy bacon one. I really liked the cheesy bacon one. I liked the broccoli one too but it had almonds in it and I don't like almonds but otherwise, it was really yummy! We also started cheerleading this week and we have got a lot done in a day because we only started yesterday! Last year I also did cheerleading and it was really fun, so I decided to do it this year as well. We also started quick write with Miss Darrah. This week I did it with Ella and it was really fun. The one I liked the most was the burger one it was really funny! But actually all of them were really funny. I have also started to do my IE and I am doing foods from around the world. This week was really fun and I can't wait till next week!

Term 2 Week 6

This week it was a short week so we only had 4 days. I really liked doing the mind games because we got to do spot the differences and they were a bit of a challenge. I also really like having the checklists so I know what I have done and what I have to do. I also liked doing Pe because we got to play seaweed with the little kids in Moana. We have tech and I am in the garden to table group and we get to do some cooking/baking and look after our garden. This week we made feijoa crumble or loaf and Ella, Elizabeth and I made the crumble. When we got to eat them we paired up with one of the groups that made the loaf. I really liked both and I would make them again, but if I had to choose a favorite it would be the loaf because I like loaves more then crumbles but the crumble is still good. We also started some art, the art is about and it is meant to look like the evening sky. I am excited to do the pastel next week because we get to add color and brightness to it. This week was really fun and I really liked it.

3 Places In The World I Would Like To Visit

1. Los Angles/America - I would really like to go to Los Angles or just America because when my mum was at college she went to America for a year to see what it was like there and went to a high school.

2. Greenland- I would really like to go to Greenland because I have always wanted to go see the Northern Lights because they look so pretty and cool.

3. Japan - I would really like to go to Japan because I have been learning Japanese on duolingo and some of their foods are really yum and look really yum!
